Interesting holographic display that creates floating images from an LCD by utilizing a concave mirror. The projected images float at 30 cm away from the display surface. A user can get near to the image and appear to touch it. Our objective of this project was to add tactile feedback to the hovering image in 3D space. The Airborne Ultrasound Tactile Display is used to give tactile feedback to a user that they are touching digital images. More info on the website.
